Hey Everyone!!

It's finally starting to warm up outside and Harliegh and I have been enjoying taking walks down by the lake! I can't wait until it is a little wamer so we can try out the baby swings at the playground...unfortunately the playground is covered by a small pond of melted snow! Harliegh is doing so much lately! She will be 8 months old next Monday! Her favorite game now is pulling herself up and then sitting down and then pulling herself up again. It's very cute but gets a little repetitive for me! She is alsmost crawling, she gets up on her knees and gets very angry when she can' figure out how to move forward! On Monday she figured out how to army crawl and now she just zooms across the floor. I have tried to get it on video to post here but everytime I pull out the camera she starts laughing at me! She also is getting very smart and sneaky, I am worried I may have a little prankster on my hands...a trait she surely has inherited from daddy...first she started fake coughing when she was four months old, then she started liking to be startled and would try to startle me by raising her hands and yelling at me...now she figured out how to fake sleep. She has done it both to Tyler and me on seperate occasions. One morning I heard her playing and talking in her crib for awhile...since she was happy I just laid in bed and listened to her. After about 15 minutes I got up to get her. I walked into her room and the floor creaked and she quickly rolled over and laid down . When I looked down at her she was lying there with her eyes closed. I called her name....she ignored me....I tickled her tummy....she kept her eyes closed...I tickled her feet ....nothing. Then I just stood there quietly and stared at her and all of a sudden she pushed herself up and started laughing. Funny Baby!
Other than that it has been the same old, same old for me and Tyler. I have gotten into watching "Into the Motherhood" online...for all my mom friends out there...watch it! HILARIOUS! Up until now it has been online only but now they have it on TV. ABC on Thursday at 7! If you are a mom you will appreciate it!
Now that it is warming up I am going to try to sign up for baby storytime at the library! It will give me an excuse to get out of the house and meet other new mommies in town. I am looking forward to that!
