I started this blog so all of our friends and family can stay up to date on our little family. Our family consists of Tyler, my husband, Harliegh, our daughter, Oscar the dog and Vicious the cat. I will be posting blogs and pictures so that anyone can check up on what's going on in our family whenever they want.
Harliegh Quinn Hay was born August 13th, 2008 and was instantly our personal ray of sunshine. She is 5 months old right now and we are amazed how much she has grown and learned already. She is practicing sitting, and can sit for short periods of time with no help at all. She rolls over from her belly to her back, but hasn't quite figured out how to get from her back to her belly. She'll get it soon! She also is getting quite good at her sounds. She now can say ma, pa, ba, da, fuh, and figured out how to blow raspberries! We even got her to say "MOM" and caught it on my camera! As soon as I figure out how to post it, I will! She is starting to eat baby food now and so far likes everything but bananas! She loves to listen to stories and likes to turn the pages in books, she also likes chewing on books! She is growing so fast and I wish you all could see her often to witness it. So I know most of you will be checking this to check up on Harliegh, so don't worry, she consumes my life and I will be more than happy to brag about her!
January is almost over and it feels as if spring is just beyond our reach! I can't wait until it is warm enough to take Harliegh on walks down to the lake. Cabin Fever is definitely setting in but pretty soon it will be warm and sunny.
In about 5 or 6 months you're going to look at her and think "why won't you just sit still for one minute?!" lol! No, isn't it fun though?
